I also made coding changes to let car know I have xenon lights, byte 2 bi-xenon without light assist, and byte 6 bit 5-6 xenon shutter installed. You now have properly functioning lights, but you do not have AFS. Opinion: I definitely would not purchase the OEM lights if I was not interested in the AFS functionality. I would use Ed’s lights.
in the left Menu go to expert mode ->coding. on "vehicle order" press read. right Klick on FA an press activate. on " SVT actual" click "read ECU". now all installed ECUs will be listed. there should appears STML/STMR or FLEL/FLER or 2x FLE. right click on it and press "code". That should do it.
1-wiel. The reflectors behind the glass eye burn away over the years. Remove the plastic lens. Remove the reflector behind the glass eye and rechrome them. Assemble them again and put new plastic lenses on. I’ve done some 15 pairs off abl-xenon headlights in 2,5 years now, and 10 pairs of normal xenon headlights.

The first version, which I seem to have, has the fog lights light up on the side to which you are turning to to improve visibility in turns. The second is the bixenon which actually turn with the direction the car
