I currently have a 1DX Mark II as my main body which I've owned from new, a 5D3 as a backup and a 6D. All of these cameras are battle scarred and abused. I have the full compliment of lenses (16-35, 24-70 and 70-200) 2.8, latest versions + 85 1.2L + 35 1.4 Art so don't feel there's any gaps in there. The EOS 6D Mark II's is rated for significantly more shots per battery charge compared to the EOS R. If you're often forgetting to charge and/or pack extra batteries, the 6D II may be the better camera for you. Those who simply don't like using adapters will also be better served by the 6D II. And finally, those whose budgets do not extend to Canon 6D Mark II Canon EF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS II Canon EOS 6D Canon EOS-1D Canon EOS-1D X Mark II If you believe there are incorrect tags, please send us this post using our feedback form . Canon EOS R7: 132.0 x 90.4 x 91.7mm at 612g. Canon EOS 7D Mark II: 149 x 112 x 78mm at 820g. Again, thanks to the lack of a mirror, mirrorless cameras like the EOS R7 can be designed in more compact, lightweight bodies, which we see evidenced here. The EOS R7 is more than 200g lighter than its older sibling, and smaller in its dimensions.
The main advantages of the 5DIV are low ISO dynamic range (the 6D is closer to the older 1DX), an extra card slot, and some video features. So the question is whether a slight dynamic range and dual card slots are worth a $1000 to you. The 6D2 focuses really well, but does have a smaller area of point coverage.
The Canon 6d Mark ii uses the light sensitive pixels to achieve focus and achieve faster. While shooting, we noticed it can lock focus quickly and the focus tracking in live view is great too. We found this to be very helpful during the wedding processional and reception dancing. Low light wedding portrait.
04-26-2022 09:28 PM. I've used the Canon SL1 for wild flowers, butterflies, and birds fairly successfully for years and generally use it with a Sigma 100-400 lens. It's been a good combination for low weight, long walks and usually obtaining decent to excellent results. But in a recent bird trip to Costa Rica, I found the SL1 really struggled
The Canon 6D is the smaller and less expensive version of the 5D Mark III. They take the same battery and accessories. The differences are minor, so if money matters, of course get the 6D for 40% less money. The 6D loses about 5% of some of the 5D Mark III features, most notably a simpler AF system, only two "C" modes, only one memory card and 135.5 × 106.5 × 76mm. 148.6 x 112.4 x 78.2mm. MSRP Price. $1,199 (as introduced) $1,799 (as introduced) With a $600 price difference, it is pretty clear that the Canon 7D Mark II is a higher-grade camera than the Nikon D7200. The true competitor to the 7D Mark II will be Nikon’s D400, which will probably be priced around the same mark and
And I chose 6D mark II over R. Either choice will be good choice. But in my case, I was in tight budget. 'R' could be superior choice, but it's few hundreds dollar more expensive. Since it requires newer type of lens, you need to spend more money on lens.
Those are probably the most important changes from the 6D to the 6D Mark II for day-to-day use that will make a significant difference in the shooting experience, but that’s not all. The high burst rate has jumped 2 fps, from 4.5 to 6.5 and that will make a noticeable difference for action shots. The newer WIFI should be an improvement on the
Canon EOS 90D (62) performs better than Canon EOS 6D Mark II (53) in terms of speed. Canon EOS 90D is more versatile than Canon EOS 6D Mark II (95 a 90). The handling of Canon EOS 90D (69) is more effective than that of Canon EOS 6D Mark II (66). But, as you may know, the technical performance is meaningless if applied to the wrong context.

Though a 5D MK III is a more professional tool. In my opinion the 6D is a step up from the from the 5D MK II and wedding photographers used the 5D MK II for years. For low light the 6D is said to have a slight edge over the 5D MK III for noise, very slight. This possibly due to slightly larger pixel sensor size that can gather more photons. BMcb.
