I did oil change yesterday and after that I test the car and check the oil level, cleared codes, locked the door with key remote. This morning, wife took the car out and called me telling me that she cannot lock the driver side of door with the remote, even insert the key in the key hole won't lock/unlock the door, she was able to lock/unlock the rest 3 doors fine with the remote.
Something must be consuming the battery whilst you are away from the car overnight. At night, when parking the car up, lock it and leave it for about 20 minutes. Do not touch anything on the car
The car had 22 miles on it. I thought I'd try charging the battery by driving it, as planned. Ended up adding 29 more miles, but the "Replace Battery" warning persisted. I texted my salesman. The later referred to as the switch cluster. After replacing the steering-angle sensor, it must first be coded and then calibrated. Bottom line for my BMW, reconnecting my battery triggered the routine that reinitialized my active steering, removed the warning and straightened the steering wheel. Others complain of low power steering fluid, bad angle sensor or weak battery. First try this, it's a very easy fix and may work for you. CR2450 battery. Pull out the valet key (press the button near the top of the fob to release). Then insert a flathead or the valet key in the hole where the valet was, and use that hole to pop off the back off the key fob. It takes a little pressure, but will pop off pretty easily.
