It is one of the perplexing things about Prague - in the city centre, you can find honest, good restaurants with price ranges from 100–300czk for a full meal, right next to crooked scammers who’ll charge you 100czk for a small bottle of coke, and tourists still order there and keep such dishonest people in business. Unbelievable!
For Czechs lunch is the big meal of the day, though most places have the same menu for dinner. 29 helpful votes. 1. Re: Price of a pint of beer these days in Prague. 8 years ago. Save. Typically £1.10 in prague, maybe 1.50 for tank beer in a restaurant. Perhaps Double that in old town square. Happy to be corrected but I did a lot of 'research' over Christmas. As low as 70p in the sticks.
The cost of a meal in Prague depends on when and where you choose to go. For lunches or dinners, you can expect to pay anywhere from €8-€15 per person on a meal. It is definitely possible to get more affordable meals if you frequent local Czech pubs or casual Vietnamese outside of the city center.
